How to order a Milken rug?

Live Show Room: You can visit one of the many Milken dealerships.

Online Show Room: Milken has a fabulous online show room, which is perhaps even more effective than a real show room. If you choose to use the "interactive show room wizard" you will be prompted to choose between classic, contemporary or country rugs. Then you will be given a color pallet. You click on the color of your choice. Once that step is completed, you will be shown a home blue print and asked to choose a room. After a choice of all the rugs that fit your description will be shown. You can click on any choice and ask for it to be displayed in an actual setting. On the side you will have a few choices for the design of the room you choose. When you are satisfied order your rug. It's that simple

Care Instructions

Milken recommends cleaning their carpets with Capture© carpet cleansing system, a systems which was developed and patented by the Milken corporation. Capture is a special technique where sponge like particles are sprayed onto the carpet. These particles absorb the dirt and stains on the rug. After the particles are absorbed the Capture substance can simply be vacuumed up together with the stains.

How to use?

1. Spray Capture spray lightly on stain or area you intend to clean

2. Fully cover area with deep clean powder

3. Brush over area to activate the cleansing power

4. Clean after about thirty minutes.

The suggested frequency of cleaning is dependent on the traffic in any given area.

• Stains- for best results stained should be cleaned immediately or as soon as possible

• Entrance ways and rugs near hard surface floor should be cleaned monthly

• High traffic areas should be cleaned every 3-4 months

• A through home carpet cleaning should be done once every eighteen months.

Techniques

The most telling symbol of the quality of a carpet is how the carpet is made.

1. The amount of traffic a carpet can withstand before being crushed will depend on how many times each strand is twisted per inch. Milken carpets have a very high twist level of 3.5 times per inch and are not supposed to crush. If a Millen rug does crush as a result of traffic and the strands losing their twist, Milken warranty promises to replace the rug without charge.

2. Color quality is another major issue with rugs. Millen uses the highest quality die. They have also patented what they call Millitron®, dyeing/finishing equipment. This is a precise computer controlled color matching system so seamed areas can appear seamless. The colors are then protected with MilliGuard® a stain protection coating that lasts about five years.
